Some days are meant to be felt all the way through.

The night ended quietly.

A glass of white wine, emails still coming through, tomorrow already mapped out in my head. The house felt different with Slayder away at school. Too quiet, but not lonely. Just space. Saweetie curled up nearby, my little shadow reminding me I wasn’t really alone. I needed the stillness after the kind of day that fills your senses before it fills your calendar.

Earlier, I showed face at the KAWS museum showing. An invite from some artsy Sony connections, and truthfully, it felt right to go. Sometimes presence matters as much as participation. The space was dark but alive. Vibrant, eclectic, unapologetically trendy. Art that doesn’t whisper, it stares back at you. I shook hands, exchanged a few thoughts, let myself be seen without needing to say much.

By the time I made it home, I was ready to decompress. No meetings. No negotiations. Just me, my thoughts, and what’s coming next. Some days are loud in all the right ways. Others end soft, and I’ve learned to honor both.

Balance looks different these days, but it’s still mine.
