Okay so boom… yes, I posted a guy for Valentine’s Day and yes, I like him 😌

A friend of mine had been telling me he’d been eyeing me for a while, so they put in a good word. I was skeptical like HUH?! absolutely not. But I gave it a shot… slowly. A few chats turned into hours, we actually had a lot in common, and he made me laugh. Huge bonus because I love a man who can make me laugh.

What really got me was I could talk about work, real work, big decisions, busy days, and he didn’t get bored or weird about me calling the shots. Everything stayed easy. No pressure, always at my pace.

I still hate Valentine’s Day, but I’m learning to let people do nice things for me. And after Canada, he surprised me with a trip. I’m not saying where… just know it’s warm and the layers are gone.
